Intertainment Postpones Publication of Business Figures
Accounts for 2003 will be published after the end of the Franchise lawsuit
Ismaning near Munich, April 30, 2004 – Media company Intertainment AG, Ismaning near Munich, is postponing publication of business figures for the year 2003. This postponement is due to the lawsuit filed by Intertainment against film producer Franchise Pictures and others in respect of compensation for damages. The case is currently being heard in the USA.
Intertainment will publish the business figures not as originally planned today, on Friday, April 30, but after the trial has been concluded. The judgment on the trial is due to be handed down on June 11 at the latest.
The second week of hearings ends today, Friday. Intertainment has filed a lawsuit against Franchise Pictures and others on account of fraudulently inflating film budgets. The claim amounts to at least 100 million dollars.
