Intertainment increases allowances, depreciations and provisions to 142,4 Million Euro  

Ismaning near Munich, April 29, 2002 - On Monday April 29, 2002 the first Hearing regarding the writ of attachment about the assets of Franchise Pictures was held before the United States Federal Court in Los Angeles. 

Thusfar, no settlement of Intertainment's dispute has been reached with Franchise Pictures. The court has set November 19, 2002 as the trial start date. 

Given these circumstances, Intertainment increases depreciations, allowances and provisions relative to third quarter 2001 by 109.3 Million Euro to 142.4 Million Euro. Due to these extraordinary expenses the company declares a loss of minus 86.8 Million Euro for the business year 2001. 

In 2001, the revenues were 31.1 Million Euro compared to 87.8 Million Euro in the year 2000. 

The total cash position at the end of 2001 was 14.2 Million Euro. As of December 31, 2001, Intertainment had 54.2 Million Euro in accounts receivable.
