PRESS RELEASE

Intertainment and Paramount secure rights to "Blackout"

Ismaning / Munich, February 11, 2002 -Intertainment AG and Para-mount Pictures have secured the rights to "Blackout" by scriptwriter Sarah Thorp for one million US dollars. Intertainment AG will be pro-ducing the film together with Oscar prize-winner Arnold Kopelson. The media outfit, based in Ismaning / Munich, has an exclusive contract with the successful Hollywood producer. Arnold Kopelson was taken by the idea of the script from the outset, describing it as "one of the best projects I have ever been presented." The script content is still a closely-kept secret. The only details to have slipped through so far - it's a thriller that will be about a brave woman.

Over the next five years, Intertainment AG will be producing at least ten joint films together with Arnold Kopelson.

Kopelson is one of Hollywood's most successful producers. His last ten films have won a total of 17 Oscar nominations and played in two billion dollars at the box office. The best-known Kopelson productions include the Oscar-winning film "Platoon", "The Fugitive", "Outbreak", "Se7en" and "Devil's Advocate", as well as his most recent production "Don't Say a Word", which is currently showing in German cinemas.
