Stephen Brown appointed as Vice-CEO of Intertainment AG
Ismaning near Munich, 5 October 2001 - Stephen Brown (40), Head of Business Development and General Manager of
the US branch of Intertainment AG has been appointed as Vice-CEO of this media company. This takes account of
the focus on self-productions in co-operation with studios in the USA and, above all, Arnold Kopelson
Entertainment. Star producer Kopelson has recently topped the American cinema charts with his latest film,
"Don't Say A Word". The film already achieved box-office takings of some 18 million US dollars on
the first weekend that it was shown.
At the same time the former Vice-CEO, David C. Williamson, has resigned from the Management Board by mutual
consent according to an announcement which the company made today. His sphere of responsibility, Legal, will
now be under the aegis of Rüdiger Baeres, lawyer and CEO of Intertainment AG. Rüdiger Baeres already
conducted the negotiations for a settlement with Franchise Pictures in the past.
