Pictures and Original Voices, and distribution cooperation with Warner Bros. and
20th Century Fox. In addition, Brown will work on expanding relations with other
U.S. studios.
Brown, until recently President of Production for Kopelson Entertainment, one of
the most successful American film companies, was executive and co-producer for
movies such as "The Fugitive" (Harrison Ford), "Seven" (Brad
Pitt), "Outbreak" (Dustin Hoffman), "Devil's Advocate" (Al
Pacino) and "Eraser" (Arnold Schwarzenegger).
"The Whole Nine Yards" also top of charts in France
The action comedy "The Whole Nine Yards" continues its success in
Europe. The film, produced by Franchise Pictures and co-produced by
Intertainment, which also holds the European rights, climbed to the top of the
movie theater charts on its start in France and Spain. In Denmark, "The
Whole Nine Yards" also reached one of the top spots. The comedy, with Bruce
Willis in the star role, is one of the most successful films of the year, and
was No. 1 in the charts in the U.S.A. for three weeks.
"Things You Can Tell" praised in Cannes
With the feature film "Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her,"
Intertainment opened the program section "Un Certain Regard" at the
Film Festival in Cannes, harvesting enthusiastic reviews from the more than
hundred journalists from around the world who attended the press conference. The
European rights to the 10-million dollar production with Cameron Diaz, Glenn
Close, Holly Hunter and Calista Flockhart in the main roles are held by
Intertainment. The film will open in cinemas during the course of this year.
